Terms of use

DharmaSaathi is owned and operated by PRAIZENSE. These terms govern your use of DharmaSaathi — the website, the platform at dharmasaathi.com, and every service offered through them. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, use the support contact below.

Strictly matrimonial

DharmaSaathi is strictly for matrimonial purposes — helping individuals and their families find a marriage partner. It is not a dating platform. Use for dating, casual connection, commercial solicitation, or any non-matrimonial purpose is prohibited and is grounds for removal without refund.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to marry under the laws applicable to you (note that Indian law sets 21 as the minimum marriage age for grooms)
• You must create and operate your own profile; family members participate through the Parivar dashboard at your invitation, with your consent controlling every action
• One profile per person; profiles on someone else's behalf are not permitted

Your profile and verification

Information you submit must be true. Every profile is reviewed by a human before going live, in line with MeitY advisory guidelines for matrimonial websites. We may decline or return a profile for completion, and misrepresentation — of identity, age, marital status, or anything material — is grounds for permanent removal. Optional verifications (human review of an Aadhaar document and selfie photo, and an accepted Parivar connection) raise your profile's trust level; submitting forged evidence ends your membership.

Paid services and pricing

Profile preparation, eligible discovery and accepting introductions are free. Starting a new Parichay requires the initiator to have active membership. The other participant can reply without purchasing while either participant has active membership. Compatibility reports are included with membership. The web plans are ₹1,501 for one month, ₹4,001 for three months and ₹7,001 for six months, paid once for the stated term without automatic renewal. App-store subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant store. Overlapping web and store terms do not add together; manage an existing subscription with its original provider before buying elsewhere. New checkout is offered only when the profile and suitable activity are ready; availability does not guarantee a match. Prices are shown before payment and processed by Razorpay on the web. We do not see or store your card or UPI details. Founding and assisted enquiries collect no payment and do not reserve a place or promise introductions.

Refunds and cancellation

• Subscriptions: full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not yet begun a Parichay. Once a Parichay has been begun, or after 7 days, the term is non-refundable.
• Refund requests go to the support contact below and are processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.

Optional extras and gifts

Saathi Notes cost ₹51 for one or ₹201 for five on the web. Active membership includes two Notes per India calendar month; included Notes reset monthly. Purchased Notes and Highlight credits do not expire. Sending Notes and activating Highlights require active membership. A Note is limited to 240 characters, one per introduction per sender, and three per rolling 24 hours. Receiving a Note and accepting an introduction are free; conversation access follows the membership rules above.

Profile Highlights cost ₹201 for one or ₹501 for three on the web. Each activation lasts 48 hours, with at most one activation per seven days when sufficient eligible people are available. Placements are labelled and additional to ordinary introductions. If fewer than five introductions are delivered, the activation credit returns after settlement. Delivery does not mean a profile view, reply or match.

Biodata Studio costs ₹201 once on the web and unlocks Linen and Minimal designs for personal exports. The Classic design remains free. Native digital purchases use the price shown by Apple or Google before payment. Contact support about unused purchases or delivery problems; store refunds follow the relevant store process. A full refund or revocation removes the associated credits or unlock without affecting other purchases.

Gift memberships use private redemption codes. The recipient must be a reviewed seeker with suitable availability and no active membership. The fixed term starts when redeemed, does not automatically renew, and grants the buyer no access to profile controls, conversations or family permissions. Share codes privately. The buyer deleting their account does not cancel a gift; refunding its purchase revokes the gifted term.

Booked support and gatherings

Human profile reviews, 90-day Vivah Seva assistance and in-person gatherings are sold only as confirmed offers with stated deliverables, dates, capacity, price and cancellation terms. Read and accept those terms before booking. An enquiry is not a booking. Assistance does not guarantee a reply, meeting or marriage. If we cancel a booked offer, its undelivered bookings enter the refund queue.

Conduct

• Treat people the way this platform treats them: with dignity. Harassment, abuse, or pressure of any kind — on or off the platform — ends your membership.
• A declined introduction is an answer. Attempting to contact someone outside the platform after they have declined is prohibited.
• No solicitation, no dowry discussion in either direction, no commercial use of other members' information.
• Content you submit (photos, voice notes, messages, your story) must be yours. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service — to show your profile to potential matches and the family members you invite — and nothing more. We never sell your data.

Kundli and astrology

Kundli matching is computed from the birth details both sides provide, through a third-party astrology service. It is offered as a cultural and informational service, not as advice or prediction. As we say in the product: the stars get a vote, not a veto. Decisions about marriage are yours and your family's alone.

What we don't promise

We facilitate introductions with care; we do not and cannot guarantee a match or a marriage. We verify profiles in line with industry guidelines, but you remain responsible for your own diligence — meet in public, involve your family, and use the Compatibility Report and verification signals we provide. The platform is provided as-is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding it.

Termination

You may pause or delete your profile at any time from your account. We may suspend or remove profiles that break these terms, with notice and reasons except where the safety of other members requires otherwise. Removal for cause does not create a refund obligation.

Grievances

Our grievance officer and response timelines are published on the Grievance page, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with Indian courts holding jurisdiction. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the product, and continued use after notice is acceptance.
